It would have been better if there were more soundproofing measures to minimize the noise from nearby bells, especially for light sleepers.

Stayed at a lovely beachfront accommodation with a terrace and enjoyed the beautiful mountain views. The free WiFi was an added bonus for keeping up with my social media!
Oh, and they even threw in a noisy construction site right outside my window! How delightful!

maddalena house exceeded our expectations, even better than our previous stay in varenna. the cozy apartment had a well-equipped kitchen and a cute balcony with great views. the location was perfect, just steps away from the lakefront and close to the ferry boat dock and train station. highly recommend!

We had an amazing value for our money at this apartment in Varenna. The room was modern, clean, and had all the necessary facilities. The location was perfect, right in the main square, with everything we needed just steps away. The owner, Marilena, was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we had a great stay and giving us recommendations for restaurants and activities.
For breakfast choices, it would have been nice to have a bit more variety.
